Work parties are a great way to get connect with animals, get exercise, and spend time with friends, colleagues, and family.  

Public Work Parties:
Time 10 am to 2 pm​​

What to bring with you:

  • Closed toe and heel shoes
  • Hat and sunscreen if required
  • Clothing appropriate for expected weather conditions
  • Water in a non-breakable container
  • Out of respect for the animals in our care all food brought for your lunch/snack must be vegan (plant-based), so no meat, dairy, eggs, honey, etc.

You will need to sign a liability waiver upon arrival.

Some examples of tasks you may do:

  • Strip shelters
  • Mud management
  • Building
  • Yard clean up
  • Move feed
